Wanda Kline
Biography
Wanda Kline's artwork can
best be described as childhood memories wrapped in imagination. Through each
composition Kline shares the joy of growing up on a barrier island,
recalling the magic days of summers past. As a observer of her work, you are
drawn into your own memories; you want to be there, to relive sunny days,
carefree times and the beauty of nature. Fifteen years of graphic design
clearly influenced the style and composition of this artist. However, her
mastery of the oil medium is the obvious result of her training at Boston
University and the Boston Museum School. Her palette is clean and fresh.
Combining the use of palette knife and brush she creates a lush organic feel
to landscapes and beach scenes. Kline maintains a studio in Ocean City, New
Jersey and imparts her talent as a teacher at the Ocean City Art Center. Her
paintings are widely exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and
in many private and corporate collections.
