Michael Budden Bio


	Michael Budden is an internationally known artist living and working in his native New Jersey. His unique use of composition, mood and lighting has attracted the attention of major art publishers, art magazines and museums. Dissatisfied with the studio approach to painting, Mike has committed himself to "plein air" painting, working outdoors direct from nature. When he was younger , it was a love for the work of Claude Monet that first inspired Mike to paint outdoors where he found that he enjoyed the struggle and the progress he made with each new attempt. Mike believes that his transition to the "plein air" approach is based on his desire to paint from his heart with the purpose of revealing a pure reaction to the beautiful stimuli he encounters every day.
