Fressinier Bio

The delicate hand of Francois Fressinier is distinctly visible in his beautiful, sensitive renderings of humanity. His subjects primarily consist of Gallo-Roman imagery with embedded artifacts of the southwestern region of France. Fressinier was born in Cognac, France on August 4, 1968. His father had a tremendous reverence for the Old Masters and guided his son into the exploration and creation of figurative and symbolic art. Fressinier went on to study fine art at Ecole Brassartin Tours. His style of painting has been described as a modern alagam of Neo-Classical, Classic Renaissance and Romanticism. His works reveal the ethereal, romantic presence of sensuous women. The men and women in Fressinier’s world are imbued with grace and beauty; painted in their best light. The viewer sees so clearly in these paintings what is good about mankind and wondrous about life.
