Diann Cardello

Biography

Diann has always enjoyed being creative. She graduated from Antonelli Institute of Art and Design and furthered her studies in art classes and workshops. Diann is an award winning artist and has exhibited her work in juried shows, art shows, galleries and a museum. Some of her pieces are currently on display at Accent Gallery in Ocean City, New Jersey, Summer Studio in Avalon, New Jersey and Garth Gallery in Columbia, Pennsylvania.

Both York, Pennsylvania and Avalon, New Jersey are home to Diann.

Artist Statement

Throughout my journey, I have learned that the essence of my spirituality lies in knowing one's true self and finding a peace that comes from within.

Surviving cancer forced me to the inner most depth's of my being. It is from those depths that I find my inspiration. I truly feel that when I paint, I am in a space with no words. It is my way of journaling. Raw emotions transform into paintings that are at times filled with color and texture and other times are fluid watercolors.
