       Alexander Befelein was born in Bremen, Germany in 1952. In his early twenties, the study of art led him to travel to many European cities. After graduating form the University of Munich in 1981, Befelein began his career as an Artist and freelance art teacher. In the years that followed he continued to travel; each journey inspiring numerous sketches and watercolors. When viewing Befelein’s works one can feel his interest in the many types of architecture around the world and the uniqueness of each city skyline.
