Anne Belov Bio


	Anne Belov has been painting and drawing for more than 25 years. She received her B.F.A. from Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) in Pennsylvania and her M.F.A. from the University of Washington. Belov has stated that it is her objective "to create a sense of place and time through light, color, composition and relationships between objects." Her work contains both still-life and landscape images, sometime in the same painting. Anne was attracted to the art of etching by her love of drawing and the illustrations of an earlier era. Through use of different media Anne is constantly expanding upon her techniques and exploring the relationships that exists between painting and printmaking.
