       Alisa Harris was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Frankford High School. She earned her bachelors degree in studio art from Penn State University, class of 1983. After completing her degree, Alisa worked in Philadelphia as a graphic designer until she relocated to the New Jersey shore region in 1987. Soon after moving to the area, she began painting and exhibiting with local artist, Lance Balderson. Alisa has illustrated a book and has taught elementary school children through the Art Goes to School program. She currently resides in Upper Township, New Jersey with her husband and two sons.
